Village Paklestica

On the beautiful slopes of Stara Planina mountain, in the area of Donji Visok, next to the Lake of Zavoj, this mountain village Paklestica is situated 23 km northeast of Pirot. According to the traditional saying, the village originates from the period of the Ottoman rule. Starting from the village itself, the Visocica river creates an accumulation HE Zavoj. The village is ideal for hunters and fishermen and nature lovers as well, who like to walk through these areas. The canyon Vladikine ploce begins to spread 3 km from the village, in the length of about 2.5 km. There is a church of St. Archangel Mihajlo from XIX century in the village. mills, while only one of them still works.
